Gem Pack Vol. 3 is a Simplified Chinese Pokemon TCG booster box from the Gem Pack series - a Mainland China exclusive product line where every card is holographic. 136 cards themed around a nocturnal aesthetic with Gengar as its centrepiece.
Vol. 3 introduced EX cards to the Gem Pack format and refined the series' visual identity with darker, more atmospheric artwork. It also has structural quirks worth knowing about - the 07 slot alternates inconsistently between EX and full art cards, and the top-tier rarity includes Energy cards alongside the full art pulls, diluting the value of a hit at the highest level.
A set worth collecting for its aesthetic and its place in the series arc, but one where the structural compromises are part of the story. Vol. 4 directly addresses both issues.
